Already have version 1.9.11? First make a backup in the app (Setup > Create Database Backup), then uninstall it, install 1.9.50 and restore the backup. / Het jy reeds weergawe 1.9.11? Step 2: Open the installer
Once the download is complete, tap the file in your notification bar or Downloads to begin.
Step 3: Security permissions
If Android blocks the install, tap Settings and switch Allow from this source to ON.
Step 4: Play Protect
On the Blocked by Play Protect screen, tap More details and then Install anyway.
Step 5: Activation (Sync)
Open the app and go to Setup > Sync Status. Enter the same email you used on this page, then tap Sync so the phone binds to this licence (not a new Pending Activation key). Optional: enter the licence key shown above if asked. Leave / Full Transactions / extra Aktiewe Werknemers unlock after Sync when enabled on your licence — email support@payrollontherun.com if Sync creates a second licence.
Step 2: Run the installer
Open PayRollOnTheRun_Setup_v1.9.12.exe. If Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info then Run anyway. The installer adds .NET 10 and the local database if needed and keeps existing data on upgrade.
Step 3: Activation
On first start the licence screen opens. Enter the same email you used on this page (optionally the licence key above) and click Activate. Email support@payrollontherun.com if a second licence is created.
Optional: verify the download
In PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\PayRollOnTheRun_Setup_v1.9.12.exe must match the SHA-256 above.
New in v1.9.12 (since 1.9.10)

Known limitations
The installer is not code-signed (see the SmartScreen note above). A fresh install on a clean PC and the full automatic update have not been tested for this build. The local database connection is still built into the app; this will be removed in the next build. / Die installer is nie kodegeteken nie (sien die SmartScreen-nota hierbo). YOUR DATA: We do not receive your payroll data – your payroll records (names, ID numbers, salaries) stay on your own phone or PC. To issue and check your licence, we store your company name, contact person, email and tel, plus licence and device details from the app, on our licence server in Frankfurt, Germany.
